Dodge finally unveiled the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and it definitely lives up to all of the hype. The Challenger SRT Demon is the most powerful factory-produced muscle car ever made and it goes from 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds and it covers a quarter-mile in 9.65 seconds.

Essentially, Dodge and SRT teamed up to make another record breaker like they once did with the Dodge Viper and the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Although it sounds like the Challenger SRT Demon is equipped with the same engine as the Challenger SRT Hellcat (supercharged 6.2 HEMI SRT Hellcat V8 engine), in reality, the engine in the SRT Demon is much more advanced.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has a supercharged 6.2L HEMI Demon V8 engine that produces 840 horsepower and 770 lb-ft of torque. In comparison to the Challenger SRT Hellcat engine, the engine in the Challenger SRT Demon has a supercharger that is .3 liters bigger and it sucks in a lot more air and fuel.
