Two decades ago, SUVs were known as gas guzzlers that were only good for towing and cargo without sacrificing passenger or interior space for a payload. Crossovers weren’t even heard of yet, but as the years went on, automobile engineering and technology got better, powertrains and drivetrains improved, and now we have SUVs that can seat up to seven or eight people and still get pretty decent fuel economy, sometimes better than expected. Still, wouldn’t it be helpful if someone put a guide together of the best SUVs on the market today? U.S. News & World Report did just this with the “Best 3-Row SUV for Families” list.
If you never heard of it, U.S. News & World Report is a well-known publication that has been in business since 1933. Covering national and international news in a number of industries, U.S. News reports on Education, Health, Money, Travel, Cars, and Civics. Today, U.S. News & World Report is viewed as one of several global leaders in data analysis and information collection. The recent “Best 3-Row SUV for Families” list was put together with a focus on feature availability, passenger and cargo volume, safety and reliability ratings, and the reviews of top automotive critics.
