Today marks the start of Jeep Beach 2017 and we wonder if the residents of Daytona mind the sound from all of the exhausts and engines of thousands of Jeeps that are flocking to the city or if the sound is nothing compared to Bike Week or the races that take place all the time at Daytona International Speedway?

For five days (April 25-30), thousands of Jeepers from Florida, across the nation and even from around the world, head to Daytona and Daytona Beach to take part in the largest Jeep-only event held in the Southeast U.S. Activities include group rides, a concert, parties, fireworks, a huge obstacle course, and of course, a drive on the beach.

Jeep Beach’s main event is the obstacle course, which is constructed in the middle of the Daytona International Speedway infield. The obstacle course remains open for two days and Jeepers that want to participate can test out their Jeep on the course’s hills, rocks, mud and dirt and try not to get stuck.

The event wraps up with a massive drive (hundreds and maybe even thousands of Jeeps) on Daytona Beach, which is one of Florida’s last beaches that allows vehicles on the sand.
