The one invariant is the yearning to see life change for the better and fast, but luckily we are witnessing the outcomes of new plans and future actions of enormous brands expending lots of capital on innovation. The results are starting to show as Stellantis and its brands are shifting away from traditional, same ol', same ol' entries with new power and products for customers. The facts also can be discovered that presently, there are not enough cars to go around as demand is growing rapidly for these new cars as brands like Dodge and Jeep have seen.
What Does the CEO Think Will Happen?
Dodge has announced they are going to end the 700 to 800 horsepower vehicles and will have to come to terms with the reality that electric components are desired and need to be added. The CEO of Stellantis, Carlos Tavares, has handled this as recently as this week a few weeks before 2022 arrives, how popular this year has been for car sales. When talking before journalists, Tavares had this to articulate. How close has Dodge come to keeping its promises for 2023?
“My order book is going through the roof. People want to buy cars. It’s amazing. It’s as if we have all discovered through the COVID crisis how important it is to protect our freedom of mobility. And therefore, what’s the best way to protect my freedom of mobility is to have a car,” Tavares remarked while at a former Dodge Viper plant now known as the Conner Center.
For brands like Dodge, its collection of vehicles has transformed from cars like the Viper to more consumer-approved, fuel-friendly options. Jeep has introduced the 4xe trim that is making the rounds to land on each Jeep vehicle. Over the course of this next decade, we will see even more reasonable options added for shoppers. Battery electric vehicles are more costly to manufacture; they are as much as 50% more expensive. The source of Dodge and other Stellantis brands' innovation comes from software expansion. Dodge has jointly managed to spread $22.6 billion dollars to help raise their software and change the driving experience with "software-enabled products" and subscription services. Jeep is another brand doing the same, a part of the Stellantis brand, also trying to create on its autonomous vehicle growth with its established partnerships with both BMW and Waymo. In full, $34 billion has moved into electrification and these software developments by 2025. Curious to get started on crafting and building the right Dodge vehicle today? We can help!
