We are seeing the shiftings of the Jeep brand advance to the EV market. They seek to outperform the competition in the EV segment that stays an emerging option among customers. Despite electric vehicles not standing on top of the list for sales, clients are now exploring these possibilities. The wild growth rate for all battery-pack-powered powertrains over the conventional combustion engines. Glimpsing Into the Jeep Wrangler 4xe

We are huge fans of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, a plug-in hybrid that went on sale last year and already yields for 25% of Jeep's volume. The 4xe creates 375 horsepower and has an EPA fuel economy of 49 MPGe (miles per gasoline gallon counterpart, including electricity). Drivers gain 21 miles of electric-only driving range when the 14.0-kWh lithium-ion battery is charged. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder motor. The Jeep Wrangler 4xe outsold the Prius in 2021 and is presently the No. 1 PHEV in the country. The Grand Cherokee 4xe comes later in 2022.

"The 4xe could make Jeep die-hards change their mind about leaving [internal combustion engines], When you drive electric Jeeps you fall in love with them. A lot of torque is awesome for off-road driving. It's cool to be green," Meunier added in a statement to the media.

One method to materialize this goal of evolving into the major EV powerhouse brand is to finance more chargers for these new and forthcoming EVs. Ever heard of a Jeep Charger? Well, Jeep will have a new charger; for their 4xe trims that is. Stellantis is building a new weatherproof indoor/outdoor wall charger unit that will enable owners of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe trims. The brand new level 2 (240-volt) wall charger is made for both indoor and outdoor usage. This is the identical charger Stellantis will deliver for other brands like the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and future EVs arriving out later this decade. The price is $599 with a Jeep or Chrysler nameplate with a three-year warranty. The installation will be completed by Qmerit, though this price point does not include the installation fee.
