Mopar is set to offer the new Hellcrate to customers that want to significantly boost the horsepower and strength of their vehicle. The Dodge brand's supercharged 6.2-Liter V8 engine is a prime example of what happens when engineers focus on making a fast powertrain even faster. The new Hellcrate will be offered at a price of $21,807 MSRP and its the best engine offered by Mopar since the Hellephant crate was introduced in 2019. The Hellephant crate offered 1,000 horsepower with 950 lb-ft of torque but cost just shy of $30,000 MSRP. The 2020 crate now offers the SRT Hellcat Redeye, which hits 807 horsepower.
