The Ram 1500 represents what the Ram brand is fitted for customers. Inside the 2022 Ram 1500 Backcountry fans will be surprised as the brand announced a new offering known as the Backcountry. The new direction takes the already praised Ram 1500 Big Horn and Laramie trims. However, the Backcountry encases them with some off-road ready perks like added shocks crafted to serve as a top-tier off-road option. Ram also fitted the Backcountry with all-terrain tires, a set of skid plates for underbody protection, and an electronically locking rear differential thrown in for good measure. 

More On the 2022 Ram 1500 Backcountry

The 2022 Ram 1500 Backcountry is a more affordable and more modern option for customers over pickups like the rival Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, a truck that is not built as off-road-focused. The Ram brand has designed a tailor-made experience that allows buyers to manage business on or off-road with comfort. The Ram 1500 Backcountry is available with either the primary powertrain in the base trim. The entry level engine is the 5.7-Liter HEMI or the e-Torque Hemi (which is excellent as the Ram mild hybrid system is quite solid). Owners can buy a quad-cab or crew cab and this pickup is only available in four-wheel drive.

For those interested, the Ram 1500 Backcountry begins at $41,780 MSRP (Plus destination fee), and we should expect this pickup to arrive as an option for our customers within a few months as we get into the third-quarter it in dealers someday in the third quarter of 2021.
